One of the instructors who is coming to Cleveland called me today from New York City to give me further information on what the instruction and workshop will entail.  He was calling each and everyone of the participants.

Although not trained as a masseur, I have given many massages for the past 25 years.  I have a lot of strength in my  hands, and can get a lot of pain and soreness out of muscles and nerves.  I look forward to perhaps being able to combine the two once I have received the training.

At any rate, I am looking forward to it with great anticipation.  We keep getting emails and updates from Body Electric almost daily.  I know that they are letting us know of workshops in all of the cities in the US; and, yes, many are far from me.  But that does not mean that they will be always; this one is a start.  I know they tried to make a go of it last year, but it did not go.  Again, many of the men were very inhibited; so this year they had informational meetings before this to let the men know how it operates, and they have given to us many testimonies of what a difference it has made in a man by getting in tune with his body, relaxing, feeling rejuvenated, etc.  I truly look forward to it with great anticipation.

I'm surprised at the co-ordinator asking about nudity concerns. In the 5 years I co-ordinatoed for Toronto, I know I would never have asked that question. It raises issues that will be magnificently handled by the B.E. Facilitator as the workshop unfolds. Asking if a prospect has any concerns is appropriate. Let the concerns come from the client

BE used to do the workshops frequently in Dallas and Houston, but I think the facilitators moved on to do other things and now there is no one willing to host or organize the meetings. I haven't heard of one in Dallas in a long time either.

I use a modified philosophy of BE in my sessions, and I know a lot of other guys do too.

I am a massage therapist and see plenty of nude bodies and I know I would love this workshop .... on the table would be well as off,
I had someone do body electric work on me years ago....It was  an absolutely amazing feeling I had never experienced in my life.
I looked at the schedule and can't believe Tulsa is the one closest to me here in Houston.

Body Electric does a great job of making the participants feel good about themselves before anyone is nude. No matter how shy or self conscientious anyone may be, the process is very gentle and affirming. I think you would enjoy and feel comfortable in this seeting Louis.

I look forward to hear about your Body Electric experience.
I would love to attend a workshop someday, but I am one of those guys who is not comfortable being nude in a group.
Have fun.

Ken, I totally agree.  I worked one summer at Easton Mountain in Upstate New York northeast of Albany; they hold throughout the summer all the three workshops on Body Electric.  I witnessed the transformation of the men during that time.  Due to the fact that I was working there, I did not have the opportunity to do the workshops.  That is why I have signed up to do this first one here in Cleveland.  Thanks Ken for our kind remarks.

Great comment, Marlin.  You're right on about the consistent influence of the USA Calvinistic heritage.  It just takes gathering men together nude for mutual touch to start breaking that barrier down.
