I thought I already thanked you but I see now I apparently either didn't click the button to send it, OR it was a draft I wrote in my head that never stuck to the dedicated neurons for my mental to do list. My bad. So, officially, I give you my belated thanks for the warm welcome.

Never been to Alaska myself but did have an uncle who hunted and traded furs back in those early settlement days. Yeah he was old. :D What a character, too. I wished I had had the presence of mind to record his fascinating stories before he died. He was still sharp at 95 to remember which stories he'd told me already, and I would look forward to each new story. His love for Alaska came through every time.
